Is CRM Dead?

September 20th, 2017 | by ViaDataWebAdmin |

A few weeks ago an article appeared in the media revisiting the notion that CRM is dead. The rationale was that the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) cannot be relevant in an age where the Customer manages the relationship – and not the business.

This sparked a debate over lunch and following our new found ‘Start with Why’ approach we tried to understand why a business would be interested in the relationships with their customers – and whether the relevance of this was any less than it was when CRM was the hottest buzzword in IT Tech.

Our MD, Craig Byren, took a particular interest in the debate and wrote an opinion piece on the topic.
